Who is MBTI® for Teams for?

Any in-person or remote team of 3 to 60 people who want a flexible, self-guided team-building experience.

It is for team development. The MBTI® assessment isn’t designed to measure aptitude or performance, so it should not be used to hire people or to choose who joins a team.

How much does it cost?

$99.95 per person, including you if you take part, paid once when you set up the team. Each seat includes that person’s own MBTI® For You, theirs to keep. A second team costs only for people new to you: anyone who has been on one of your teams before joins free.

How does setup work?

Name your team, add everyone’s email address and pay once. Each person gets a personal invitation, and you follow progress on your team page. The people you invite never see a price.

How long does it take?

Each person takes the assessment (20 to 30 minutes for most people) and confirms their type (another 10 to 15). Team results unlock for you once three people have finished, and for everyone once the whole team has. After that, go through the team content together in a single afternoon or over a few weeks, at your own pace.

Can I add or remove people later?

Yes, at any time from your team page. You pay only for people who are new to you, and the team’s results update straight away. Removing someone doesn’t refund a seat they’ve already used, since it delivered their own assessment and report. A seat that was never used can be given to someone else or refunded.

Do people who already know their type need to take the assessment?

If they’ve taken it with us on app.mbti.com, no: they join in seconds with their existing results. Otherwise, yes. Team results are built from everyone’s answers to the assessment, so a type from another platform or our previous site can’t be carried over.

Does it include a facilitator’s guide?

Yes. A facilitator’s guide is included, so the team lead or anyone on the team can run a group session, with no MBTI® expertise needed.

How long do we have access?

It’s a one-time purchase with no subscription. Everyone keeps their own results and report, and the team page and Team Report stay in your account.

Which languages is it available in?

English and Spanish.
